Come to the Armley Forum Tuesday 16th 7pm if you want to get involved with opposing the Done Bookies Application
Last week due to your deluge of letters in objection, the application has been adjourned until the 20th February so well done!
The Forum at the One Stop Shop will deal with all sorts of other Armley related stuff, but this can be covered in the any other business bit at the end. Perhaps one of the things we might need to consider is what can we do/say to counter the argument that Town Street is already full of empty shops, which is better an empty shop or a bookies? What could Todd's be anyway? So instead of a good ole gripe, why dont we find out how we can influence the future of Armley, and what would we want to see anyway? Why not take a butchers at what the folk in Headingley did so they could work collectively click here

Further more the Coral Application which was opposed on the grounds of lack of demand by William Hill has been adjourned until April, I am sure we will have a good opportunity to discuss this tomorrow too.

Our resident genius and great artist/musician would like to see some Armley love and invites you to see him perform at the Wardrobe in Leeds this Wednesday 9pm click here to read more

Finally in the Guardian this time for friendliest street. We now promise this will all stop!
Enough already of this media circus made up by the delusional ex Lady Mayoress- dont the silly readers know it is all part of a grand hoax and the street and it's residents dont exist except as characters in her made up world. Next people will think that there really is a tourist board and will even 'vote' for the next pretend Lady Mayoress.
