Creative Armley Website has new blogger- I Love West Leeds Festival Director Jane Earnshaw shares her musings as she attempts to put on a week long festival with teeeny weeeny amounts of money

Another new Russian Shop opens in Armley called Annas on Whingate- Yippeeee. Lovely stuff
Also an Afro Caribean shop just appeared next to the Malt Shovel yesterday- more on that later!

The Lady Mayoress and her cronies put on their plus fours and went a supping in Gott's Park Golf Clubhouse last Friday. She reports back that it is reasonably priced, sells Magners, has a fantastic pool table at 20p a go and wonderful views across Armley and Kirkstall. A little quiet, and very quirky. Worth a trip? Definitely. Worth the £5.00 social membership? At less than £10 for a round for 5 - we should coco!
