After furious bidding Sherman finds good home in Mid Wales!

The Lady Mayoress wishes to say a big thank you for all your kind words of support during this tense time. She is glad to report that Sherman reached a magnificent £112 on that marvellous Ebay and is going to a couple of 'goths' from the deepest part of Wales. The gothic couple intend to reincarnate Sherman in suitable black with apocalyptic flames of hell licking her sides. This is infinitely preferable to the Lady Mayoress who during bidding was alarmed to receive an invitation from a stock car racer to come take Sherman off her hands. Admittedly Sherman may have liked a last big adventure but the Lady Mayoress was rather concerned that this did not meet the criteria of 'respectful' and 'good home'.

West Leeds Area Commitee are looking for your feedback about the proposed plans for Armley and West Leeds, here's your chance to ask for a Starbucks!! Or something that we might actually want... They will be consulting on the issues and options for the regeneration of the West Leeds Gateway and there will be a series of exhibitions in the area taking place during October and November where people can come along and have their say. URBANFUSION 06 is a great opportunity for
musicians and bands of all ages and from all
communities in Inner West Leeds to create new music.
The project welcomes professional musicians and
amateurs who are passionate about making music.
You will work with professionals from the industry,
collaborate with other musicians, record a track in a
professional studio to create a CD, take part in live gigs
and establish a local musicians' network.
